Papa’ Bob celebrated his 80th
Birthday on October 15, 2009. ‘Mama’ Glenyce was 80 on February
22, 2010.
They have been in the Pentecostal
Movement for 62 years. Pastor Bob preached his first sermon in October
1948 at the Midnight Mission in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Both Bob and Glenyce graduated from North Central Bible Institute (now
University) in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the Class of 1951.
The Doorns founded their first church in 1949 and
are still going strong after over 60 years of ministry.
After being pastors in several churches over a 40 year span, they have
traveled the world since 1989 and have ministered in over 60 Nations.
Their theme song in these last days says,
“We’ll work ‘til Jesus comes then we’ll be gathered home!”
Mama and Papa Doorn are a couple that
lived during Voice of Healing movement in the 1950’s. They
truly walk in Revival and are Glory carriers.
Gateway Church & Revival Center
